Luna Caine

Luna acknowledges that he lives on the traditional, ancestral, unceded, territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) peoples. He is deeply grateful to live on this beautiful land and does everything he can to respectfully care for the land and all beings while here.

Under the pen name, L.F. Caine, he’s an author of dark fantasy and fiction novels, blending realism with the supernatural to create raw, immersive worlds. His stories explore the messy, complex experiences of being human—highlighting shades of grey, deep relationships, and flawed characters. He believes stories have a profound way of connecting people and creating a sense of belonging.

He was first published at age 10 in the 2013 and 2015 ‘Gems of British Columbia’ anthologies.

Luna is currently completing a BA in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. He incorporates thoughtful, real-world insights into his writing, balancing intensity with gentle moments and dark humour, his books lead to satisfying yet open-ended conclusions that linger long after the last page.

When he’s not writing, Luna spends his time in nature, daydreaming, doing art, and sharing time with loved ones. His debut novella, ‘Maybe It’s Just About Us’, is set to release in early 2026, offering readers a delve into his unique brand of raw, thought-provoking fiction.
